Reviews for Seafood Restaurant

Piscatorial perfection!
Exmouth currently has few restaurants you can wholeheartedly recommend, but this one is an utter gem. Superior to any other establishment in the town, Les Saveurs at the Seafood Restaurant is in a completely different league. It offers outstanding food, excellent presentation, great ambience and, considering the quality of its food and the careful attention to detail, good value for money. And once he's finished his cooking, chef Olivier even comes out to talk to customers, to find out what they think of his food and his restaurant, and, if need be, to make improvements.
A class act like this does not come cheap, so If you're on a budget, look out for the monthly special, with a more limited menu, two courses for under £25 and three courses for under £30.
And it's not all fish, either. There are meat and vegetarian options, even on the monthly special. Ideal for a special occasion, or an upmarket evening out with friends that you need to impress, all in all it's currently the best restaurant in Exmouth. Ten stars.

Fishy Heaven!
For an outstanding dining experience, Les Saveurs at the Seafood Restaurant stands head and shoulders above any other establishment in Exmouth, and is fast acquiring a national reputation for excellence. Chef Olivier hails from Brittany and has been a keen fisherman since childhood. He's passionate about serving only the best locally-sourced fresh fish and seafood, cooked to perfection, and will happily pull up a chair to wax lyrical on the subject, once he's finished his shift in the kitchen!

Even if you're not a fish lover, you'll find something gorgeous on the menu - local duck or rabbit, perhaps. The menu, by the way, isn't written in stone - if something wasn't available in the market that day, you won't be getting it for dinner - but don't worry, something equally lovely will be on offer. The decor is delightful, just the right side of formal, and ideal for a special intimate occasion, or just a relaxing meal with friends. Yes, it's expensive, so if things are a bit tight, look out for the monthly special, when there's a set menu at under £30 for three courses. Wish there were more stars to hand out, as this place is really very special indeed!

The Walton Lavell's
Food was very very well presented, delicous in taste (including the sauce that came with the fish dishes)and so worth paying for. Cleanliness excellent and tables presented lovely. Jugs of water available free of charge.
