I recently bought a new pair of specs and go a free pair of prescription sunglasses. They're frames from the Â£69 - Â£125 range and I had tinted prescription lenses. Great help choosing them, too. The staff were really helpful and not at all pushy. The Clipper is one of my favourite Exmouth pubs. Itâ¬"s a great pub that has a wide variety of drinks to tickle your fancy. Exmouth currently has few restaurants you can wholeheartedly recommend, but this one is an utter gem. Superior to any other establishment in the town, Les Saveurs at the Seafood Restaurant is in a completely different league. It offers outstanding food, excellent presentation, great ambience and, considering the quality of its food and the careful attention to detail, good value for money. And once he's finished his cooking, chef Olivier even comes out to talk to customers, to find out what they think of his food and his restaurant, and, if need be, to make improvements.
A class act like this does not come cheap, so If you're on a budget, look out for the monthly special, with a more limited menu, two courses for under Â£25 and three courses for under Â£30.
And it's not all fish, either. There are meat and vegetarian options, even on the monthly special. Ideal for a special occasion, or an upmarket evening out with friends that you need to impress, all in all it's currently the best restaurant in Exmouth. Ten stars.

Very good pub thatâ¬"s not located far from the seafront or town center. We felt like having a good old traditional roast dinner and so we heard Sophies are quite popular for traditional English food. We were very impressed with the quality of food â¬ a lot of effort had gone into making the whole dining experience traditionally English. Exmouth does have many different restaurants but i think if you fancy an Italian then Donatoâ¬"s would probably be your best bet. We had some pasta dishes whilst the kids really enjoyed their pizzaâ¬"s. Zanzibar, down Rolle Street, is a really unique and cute little shop. It sells allsorts like cards, gifts and small furniture, amongst other things- I bought some gorgeous candles from here. Everything is really high quality, individual and more often than not handmade. Prices can be a little steep depending on what youâ¬"re after, however there is a sale shelf where you can bag a bargain. We went to The Bamboo Chinese Restaurant for lunch one day and felt a bit conflicted when leaving. Donâ¬"t get me wrong the food was brilliant; I had the roast duck with bean sprouts which I thoroughly enjoyed. Similarly the restaurant is nice and clean and the prices are very reasonable however the service was lacking, perhaps even bordering on rude.
