I can't recommend this antenatal course enough. We learnt practical skills but also gained some idea of what to expect in the labour ward, got to see some of the instruments that might be used, and best of all, we made friends who I couldn't have managed without in those first six-eight weeks of being up every two hours in the night. Paddy, who runs the groups, keeps them small and intimate and really tells it as it is, without preaching. I was enrolled for NCT but swapped to Parentwise at the last minute and I'm so pleased I did.I can't recommend this antenatal course enough. I recently bought a new pair of specs and go a free pair of prescription sunglasses. They're frames from the Â£69 - Â£125 range and I had tinted prescription lenses. Great help choosing them, too. The staff were really helpful and not at all pushy. There are eye tests and eye tests... A lot comes down to time and experience. The national chains generally allow 15 minutes, these people seem to take what is needed, and really look into things thoroughly. Superb personal treatment, attention and care at this GP surgery. I go to the Claremont Grove practice having moved here recently, and I have had nothing but 1st class service. Everything from quick referals to specialists, swine flu jab clinic, midwife appointments and even the flexibility that is shown when you leave it too late to order that repeat prescription, run out and then find that someone on the desk will help you solve the crisis! It's good that the parking is free as well, unlike at the RD & E. This makes a huge difference and is really convenient. I think it's a great practice. I can't stress how fabulous this place is. We are really lucky to have access to such expertise and such lovely people to help us. I have been for a Clinical Pilates class with Jane, and found her so supportive and encouraging, and very quickly, I noticed a big difference in my posture and in the discomfort I had been suffering. It would be great if they had a little swimming pool as well, though! The gym room and studio are all really lovely to spend time in and I think it really comes across that you're in the hands of experts here. They don't try to push you in to more treatment than you can afford and if they think you can get sorted out on an NHS route, they'll tell you. But if you want some personal attention and in a nice atmosphere, this is worth looking in to - and it's not that pricey really.I can't stress how fabulous this place is. Katelyn has magic hands! The team here at McTimoney are wonderfully friendly and can help you with virtually any problem you may have in terms of discomfort or unwanted pain, especially in your back. What with back pain being the number 1 complaint in the country youâ¬"d have thought there would be more people visiting chiropractors, and if youâ¬"re one of them then I urge you to go here and give it a try.
